This 5 m cable (QFX-SFP-DAC-5M) joins two SFP+ ports with twinax copper, so no separate optics are needed. At 5 m the cable can span adjacent cabinets, with enough length to loop through a cable manager. Juniper's data gives the wire gauge as 24 AWG. The conductor is 24 AWG twinax. Both ends must be set to 10G operation on the host ports. Supplied new, in the original sealed packaging.
