Description
QFX-QSFP-DACBO-3M is a 3 m breakout cable: a single QSFP+ plug on one end splits into four SFP+ plugs on the other. The QSFP+ port must be configured for channelised 4x10G operation, and each SFP+ leg then behaves as an independent 10G port. The 3 m length keeps the run short, which leaves little slack to manage behind the doors. Juniper lists an operating temperature of –40° C to 85° C. Each of the four legs is a separate 10G link, so one QSFP+ port can feed four servers. It reports no optical diagnostics, as there is no laser in the path. Juniper's data gives a maximum power draw of 1.5 W. Supplied new, in the original sealed packaging. In the Juniper compatibility tool it carries part number 740-038153.
