Description

QFX-QSFP-DACBO-1M is a 1 m breakout cable: a single QSFP+ plug on one end splits into four SFP+ plugs on the other. Listed maximum power is 1.5 W. Genuine Juniper part, new and factory sealed. Each of the four legs is a separate 10G link, so one QSFP+ port can feed four servers. Juniper's data gives a maximum power draw of 1.5 W. A 1 m run is typically used within a single rack, for example between a top-of-rack switch and a nearby device. Breakout operation is configured on the QSFP+ port in the Junos configuration. Check the host device against the Juniper compatibility tool before purchase, because listings are made per model and per release. In the Juniper compatibility tool it carries part number 740-038152. Juniper's data gives the wire gauge as 30 AWG.
