Description
With a QSFP+ connector on one side and four SFP+ connectors on the other, this 10 m copper breakout (JNP-QSFP-DACBO-10M) feeds four 10G hosts from one 40G port. A new, genuine Juniper cable, shipped sealed. Listed maximum power is 1.5 W. A 10 m run covers row-to-row distances and longer paths inside a hall, so plan the route and bend radius before pulling it. The conductor is 28 AWG twinax. Each of the four legs is a separate 10G link, so one QSFP+ port can feed four servers. Juniper lists an operating temperature of –40° C to 85° C. The QSFP+ port must be configured for channelised 4x10G operation, and each SFP+ leg then behaves as an independent 10G port.
