Description
A 100 Gigabit QSFP28 module based on CWDM4, with four 25G coarse-WDM lanes centred near 1271, 1291, 1311 and 1331 nm sharing one duplex single-mode fibre pair. The stated reach is 2 km, which covers data-centre campuses, large machine rooms and inter-building spans that do not need a 10 km LR4 optic. Per-lane output is between -6.5 and +2.5 dBm, and the receiver range is -11.5 to +2.5 dBm. DOM is available. The module draws about 3.5 W and is rated for the commercial 0 to 70 degrees C range. It uses a duplex LC connector and standard 9/125 micron fibre. The far end should be another CWDM4 module, as CWDM4 is not compatible with single-lane FR1 or LR optics. It cannot be split into 25G channels.
