The SFP-H10GB-CU2-5M is a passive twinax copper cable, 2.5 m long, with an SFP+ connector permanently attached at each end. With no active electronics it draws very little power, about 0.1 W per the data sheet, and reports no digital diagnostics. Cisco lists this length on 30 AWG twinax, a thinner and more flexible conductor. Neat hook-and-loop strapping helps keep front-to-back airflow clear around the switch faceplate. The cable is a single sealed assembly, supplied as the spare part number with the equals suffix. Plan the route before ordering, because a fixed-length cable cannot be shortened or extended later. Seat each plug until it latches, then give the cable a gentle tug to confirm the pull-tab latch has engaged. Neighbouring cabinets in a row are the usual target, with the switch in one rack and its connected hosts in that one or the next. It carries a 10 Gigabit Ethernet link between two SFP+ ports and needs no separate transceivers.
