Description
Built from 3 m of twinax, JNP-100G-4X25G-3M connects one 100G switch port to four separate 25G server ports. The conductor is 28 AWG twinax. Juniper's data gives the wire gauge as 28 AWG. Confirm the host platform and software release against Juniper's compatibility listing first; the same cable is not accepted by every port on every chassis. With only 3 m of cable, this one is meant for short, tidy connections close to the switch. Supplied new, in the original sealed packaging. Typical use is feeding four 25G servers from a single 100G leaf switch port. Power draw is listed at up to 0.5 W. In the Juniper compatibility tool it carries part number 740-061003. Breakout mode must be enabled on the QSFP28 port in the configuration.
