Description
A 400 Gigabit QSFP-DD transceiver with four 100G PAM4 lanes at 1310 nm over parallel single-mode fibre, rated for 2 km, which is longer than a standard DR4 module's 500 m. It suits spine-to-leaf links across large data halls and short campus runs, and it can feed four 100G FR1 or similar single-lane ports on the far side by breakout cabling. Per-lane transmit power is -3.1 to +4 dBm and the receiver covers -7.1 to +4 dBm. Digital optical monitoring is included. The module needs up to 12 W and is rated for 0 to 70 degrees C. A 12-fibre MPO with APC polish is the connector, and PC-polished cables must not be used. The vendor guide lists support on the CX 9300 from 10.10.1000, the 9300S from 10.14.0000 and the 10040 32C6D models.
