A fifteen-metre 100 Gigabit active optical cable terminated in QSFP28 plugs. At this length it reaches between rows or across an aisle where a copper direct-attach cable would be too short, while still avoiding structured cabling and separate transceivers. Fibre and optics are factory-assembled in the cable, and the unit is listed for commercial temperature operation. It links two 100G QSFP28 ports and runs as four 25G lanes, with no split into smaller channels. The vendor guide lists support on the CX 6300 (100G-port models), 6400 (S0E48A), 8100, 8325, 8360, 8400X, 9300, 9300S, 10000 and 10040 families. The same product line includes the 2 m JL856A, the 7 m R0Z27A and the 30 m R0Z29A. Because the fibre is inside a fixed assembly, a damaged cable must be replaced in full, so protect it from crushing and keep to the minimum bend radius during installation.
