Description
A 400G QSFP-DD module for duplex single-mode fibre links up to 2 km. Four 100G PAM4 lanes at 1270, 1290, 1310 and 1330 nm are multiplexed onto a single fibre pair with duplex LC connectors, following IEEE 802.3cu and the 100G Lambda MSA. The duplex format is the main advantage over parallel DR4 optics, because it uses far fewer fibres and works with the single-mode patching found in most existing data halls. Cisco's interoperability table shows it can be paired with the 10 km LR4 module, in which case the link is limited to 2 km. Maximum power is 12 W and the operating range is 0 to 75 degC.
