C8355-G2 is a Cisco 8300 Series Secure Router for fixed branch routing. Its WAN connectivity comprises 2 x 10G SFP/SFP+; 2 x 5G mGig RJ-45. Cisco publishes forwarding performance of up to 38 Gbps and IPsec performance of up to 20 Gbps using 512-byte packets. These figures describe separate forwarding and encryption measurements. Expansion comprises 1 x PIM. Cisco Routing OS Essentials is preloaded; optional OS Advantage or subscription software is selected for the deployment.
