This ThinkSystem RAID 545-8i adapter provides internal SAS/SATA storage control with a PCIe Gen4 interface and a published 12Gb rating. Lenovo lists RAID 0, 1 and 10 for this option in the ThinkSystem SR650 V4. The controller does not include a supercap. Up to three are listed for slots 1–10, subject to the server configuration. Select the backplane, drive layout and associated controller cabling together. This is a regular PCIe adapter rather than a cabled internal CFF controller.
