This ThinkSystem V4 1U/2U cable kit enables a PCIe x16 connection to an OCP networking slot in the ThinkSystem SR650 V4. Without the cable, the slot provides PCIe x8 connectivity. Lenovo specifies one kit per OCP slot and requires the kit when an OCP adapter has a PCIe x16 host interface. It is a separate enablement option, rather than a network adapter.
