The MR416i-o Gen11 is a tri-mode storage controller with sixteen lanes in the OCP SPDM format, supplied with 8GB cache. HPE lists this exact option for the ProLiant DL380 Gen11. The OCP priority matrix places a sole storage controller in OCP1. With a storage controller and NIC together, storage uses OCP1 and networking uses OCP2. The platform requires P48918-B21 storage controller enablement cabling. Cached controllers require P02377-B21 hybrid capacitor or the listed P01366-B21 battery energy source; the latter is not a standalone option. PE80xx NVMe drives are not supported.
