The CX 8100 R9W86A bundle provides 24 SFP/SFP+ connections for 1G or 10G links and four QSFP+/QSFP28 connections for 40G or 100G links. This front-to-back airflow variant includes three fans and two AC power supplies. Both fans and supplies are field replaceable. Published switching capacity is 1.28 Tbps. The interface mix suits aggregation of fibre-connected equipment. Separate console and Ethernet management connections allow administrators to configure and monitor the switch.
