Description
The longest cable in the 40 Gigabit QSFP+ AOC line, measuring thirty metres. It is suited to links between distant racks or across a machine room, where copper direct-attach cables cannot reach. Fibre and optical modules are built in, so no transceivers, patch cords or MPO cleaning kits are required. The vendor lists 0.1 W per end and a commercial 0 to 70 degrees C rating. The cable fits 40G QSFP+ ports, and 40G mode on QSFP28 ports where the platform allows it. The vendor guide lists support on the CX 6300, 8100, 8325, 8360, 8400X, 9300, 9300S, 10000 and 10040 families, and lists it as not supported on the 8320. It is not a breakout cable and does not divide into four 10G links. Shorter lengths are R0Z22A at 7 m and R0Z23A at 15 m. Because the whole assembly is fixed, a damaged end means replacing the full cable.
