Description
A 10 Gigabit SFP+ module based on the LRM standard, built to run 10G over legacy multimode cabling that SR optics cannot handle well. At 1310 nm it covers up to 220 m on 62.5 micron and most 50 micron multimode fibre, with 100 m on 400 MHz·km 50 micron cable, and it can also work on single-mode up to 300 m. That makes it useful when a building riser already carries OM1 or OM2 and re-cabling is not planned. Transmit power runs from -6.5 to +0.5 dBm and the receive range is -6.5 to +1.5 dBm; DOM data is available. The module consumes about 1 W and is rated for 0 to 70 degrees C. LRM support is patchy across the range, and the vendor guide states it is not supported on the 2930F, the 8325 or the 10000 series, so verify the port list before ordering.
